Description

The Legendary Liberace is the companion CD to the 2012 Public Television special. This original soundtrack album features highlights from this special which tells the story of the world's most famous and flamboyant pianist, Liberace. It showcases his versatile style and keyboard virtuosity from classical to pop, from boogie-woogie to ragtime. Filled with excerpts from his famous 1950's television series and from TV specials that aired in the 1970's and 1980's, there are songs from these specials that have rarely, if ever, been seen on television since the original broadcasts and shows Liberace as one of America's most brilliant and charismatic performers.
