Blending Malian, American, and "Dirty South" influences into a sound all their own, Toubab Krewe has set a new standard for fusions of rock 'n' roll and West African music. Members of this instrumental quintet developed their unique sound over the course of extended stays in West Africa, immersing themselves in the local culture and studying and performing with masters. The band is attracting a diverse and devoted national following, captivating crowds everywhere from the Bonnaroo Music Festival and the Blue Note to the John F.
