HOLOGRAPHIC PROJECTIONS Malcolm Watson: Violin Colin McAllister: Guitars Holographic Projections, Watson and Company's most intellectually passionate recording pushes the envelope on both the classical and jazzier original pieces. For the first time ever, we can hear the masterful and historic performance of Bach's Toccata and Fugue, arranged for violin and guitar, by Watson and McAllister. Originally written for the massive pipe organ. The originals such as 'The Rim', and 'Eye of the Storm' get more driving and jazzlike. A CD to excite your senses! 11 Tracks. **************** Testimonials and reviews: '...Malcolm Watson is an artist and performer of unique and phenomenal talent...' Dr Deepak Chopra '...This is not the classical music you learned about in grade school, this is music with emotion, feeling and soul! This is music from someone who feels every note they play. Regardless of what genre of music you like, I think this is a must have for any music collection...' Fan JavaGuitar '...I just wanted to close my eyes and drift on a cloud while your music filled my ears with pleasure! I never imagined a violin and guitar could sound so beautiful...' D.M. Heavy Metal Fan, Estes Park CO '...Seeing Malcolm performing is unbelievable. He dances with the sound, no wait, the sound dances him. He can live at ground zero and play from that high heaven. But have you seen him? I couldn't believe what I was hearing and then seeing. More than amazing! Malcolm Watson is an active, swirling, transcendental violinist who plays and dances barefoot, dressed sharply in a white tuxedo, accompanied by a variety of acoustic-electrified guitars. His music moves him, moves his bow, and moves me, tremendously. This is ecstatic music performed in ecstatic presence...' Greg Ozimek PhenomeNews '...and I can't begin to say how captivated I was by your music!...It freed me to cry like I needed to...' G.A. Dallas TX ***************** Press Release by Jivani Dancer of Grace Reach for the Sky This is the Place: Your wings will Fly And Unfolding he is, WATSON. Another BABYBOOMER on the 'Long and Winding Road' to join the ranks of his contemporaries like Elton John, Eric Clapton, Phil Collins, Rod Stewart, Billy Joel, Paul McCartney, Santana ... Chicago, Fleetwood Mac, Supertramp... whom WATSON left (almost 30 years ago) when he felt their scene no longer nourished his Spirit. WATSON had a passion - or rather ApassionatA - toward classical music. English-born five year old WATSON stood on a Spring English morning holding his first violin. It was a gift from his uncle. Two years passed before his family found a teacher who would teach such 'youthfullness'. And WATSON - gentle, well spoken, and with glasses perched, discovered in those two years that there was no other consideration - he knew he was to be a violinist. Lessons were on Saturday morning's, an hour's bus ride away, his violin case nestled between his knees. Trained at the Kent Junior Music School, performed solos at age 7, and with symphony orchestras at 10. His rise as a prodigy, which almost resembles that of Paganini 200 years earlier, Manifested in a FULL SCHOLARSHIP AT THE ROYAL ACADEMY OF MUSIC. He was just 16, already in full blossom as a performer/composer/interpreter of classical Masterpieces. However, there was one part of this which he could not agree to his view of life: Classical music was taken too seriously, played too seriously, performed too seriously and presented too seriously, - very unlike the flamboyant romanticism of Paganini, the charm of Liszt, the playfulness of Mozart, the exuberant lightness of Chopin, the dreaming of Debussy, vigor of Vivaldi and dynamics of Pachebel. Thus to free himself WATSON joined the exploding pop scene, where his sensual & playful violin became a trademark to many performers of the late sixties-into the early seventies. He became a CBS-Europe recording Artist, touring the World with zest, passion and enthusiasm. British Television found his life so inspirational that a full movie was made - and his gift about to make him a Superstar in the
