Description

Velvet Goldmine is set in London in the early '70s during the emergence of the glam rock scene. It follows the rise and fall of mythical rock god Brian Slade - a David Bowie-type character. Music featured is a combination of original songs from the era - covers of songs from the '70s by Placebo, the Wylde Rattz and the Venus In Furs (both bands from the film) - and original songs from Grant Lee Buffalo, Shudder To Think, Pulp and Paul Kimble.
