Description

THE GRAND is in the tradition of improvisational comedies like BEST IN SHOW and THIS IS SPINAL TAP. The story is set in the world of professional poker and follows six players who reach the final table of the world's second most high stakes tournament, the Grand Championship of Poker. The soundtrack, like the movie is a raucous good time. It's a mix of quirky themes, eclectic dance music and off-kilter ESPN-type stings, all brought together to reflect the strange world that our unusual poker players inhabit. Inter-cut, overlaid and embedded into the tracks are funny snippets of dialogue, creating a kind of musical collage that will recreate the many hilarious moments in the film. []
