Description

JIMMY CARTER: MAN FROM PLAINS follows the former president on a recent promotional tour for "Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid" which was viewed by some Jewish groups as an attack on Israel. He was criticized by protests on the tour. The film follows his journey throughout the country and includes original music recorded for the film from Gillian Welch and David Rawlings, Dan Bern, Djamel, Alejandro Escovedo and Brother Ali. []
