Linked up with Detroit own Jay Dilla for Jaylib. Most recent found himself side by side with MF Doom for MADVILLAIN. Madlib is a true fan of music, a self-taught musician. His debut album with Yesterdays New Quintet's 2001 ANGLES WITHOUT EDGES broke boundaries. However, his most talked about YNQ project, STEVIE, was little more than a promotional disc, manufactured with a press run of 1500 in conjunction with New York-based clothing compnay Triple 5 Soul. The STEVIE album, a series of soulful instrumental Stevie Wonder covers became a sought after bootleg and sold for $100 to collectors on EBAY. Now for the first time ever, Madlib's Stevie Wonder tribute album is released officially, remastered and resequenced featuring a bonus track.
