Description

The latest addition to moe.'s ever-expanding discography, WARTS & ALL, VOLUME 5 continues the band's series of complete, unedited, unexpurgated live shows. The reality of a live performance in it's entirety is hard to deny - there is no chance to hide behind studio Polish or lavish production. Just five guys interacting with each other and the audience, showing their dedication to a simple notion about music: "Live= Truth". The homespun nature of these discs, recorded simply through Live Audio Engineer Steve Young's mixing board and effects, invites the listener to participate with Al Schnier and Chuck Garvey's entwining guitars as they dart within the myriad grooves and driving tempo of bassist Rob Derhak, drummer Vinnie Amico and percussionist Jim Louglin.
