Nashville songwriter Jimmy Isle first appeared on the scene as a singer in 1957 with "Stay By My Side"/ "Baby-O" on the Chicago-based Bally label. Eventually Isle's rockabilly sound caught the attention of Sun records in Memphis who released two singles, produced by the legendary Jack Clement. Jimmy moved to the Everest label in 1959 where he cut three fine singles, including the infectious "Oh Judy" and "Don't Cha Know Why." Presented here is Isle's first single (1957's "Stay By My Side"/ "Baby-O") and the complete Everest singles. All selections newly remastered. []
