Volume 1

Description

Fear of Pop is a collaboration between Ben Folds (from the platinum-selling Ben Folds Five) and producer Caleb Southern. Recorded over the past year, Fear of Pop's Volume I is an album of instrumental and spoken word tracks by Ben Folds featuring melancholic, dreamy pop and subtle jocularity. The Ben Folds melodies, post-slacker musings and odes to song styles are all present. Highlights include the 1st single, "In Love," featuring William Shatner (yes, Captain Kirk). []. []
