Description

From the time he was playing "impossible guitar parts" for Zappa's disciplined mid-80's ensemble, Vai has been regarded as a guitar hero whose quest for excellence has never failed to hold both peers and fans in awe. His mix of mind-boggling technique, intelligence and passion later served David Lee Roth, Alcatrazz and Whitesnake and inevitably led to stunning recordings as a leader. Originally released on Steve's Akashic label in '84, Flexable was re-released by Relativity in '88 and is now part of his catalog acquired by Epic. []
