Subway Series: The Golden Era

Description

There have been fourteen "Subway Series" between two New York teams. The "Golden Era," however, was from 1947-1957. During this eleven year span a New York team played in every World Series and seven of these series featured two New York teams against each other. This film highlights the many memorable and historic players, moments and games during this era and features interviews with many of the players who participated in these historic matchups.
