Since they formed in 1981, Metallica have gone from an underground heavy metal band to one of the most successful acts in the world. Metallica is THE most played artist on rock radio. One out of every twenty songs on rock radio in America today is a Metallica song. Metallica has been inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of fame and have received 9 Grammy Awards. Metallica has sold over 100 million Albums and 5 Million Videos in their career. When it comes to touring, no band delivers live the way Metallica does. Their shows, which began in clubs and garages in the early 80s, now sell out in arenas and stadiums throughout the world, and continue to be among the most intense, powerful and visually stimulating concert experiences ever delivered. One such concert experience happened in Quebec city, Quebec on Halloween weekend 2009. These shows were recorded live and compiled by the band and director Wayne Isham.
