Description

First, in "St. Ives" (1976), crime reporter-turned-novelist Charles Bronson plays go-between to recover stolen ledgers that could possibly ignite a gang war between two rival underworld factions and becomes lost in a maze of betrayal and murder. Co-stars John Houseman, Jacqueline Bisset, Maximilian Schell, and Harry Guardino. Then, in "Telefon" (1977), Bronson is a KGB man racing to stop rogue associate Donald Pleasence from activating brainwashed sleeper agents living in America.
