Little Women: Meg's Story Meg's story is about family perseverance and unconditional love. Meg's father goes off to fight in the civil war leaving her and her sisters to run the household. While her father is away Meg falls in love with her neighbor and agrees to marry him. They try to keep their engagement a secret but eventually they are discovered.
