Authentically cartoony weapons include giant boxing gloves, baseball bats, axes, and chainsaws. A stylish cel-shaded look and a "stretch and squish" physics engine make it seem as though all the wild action is taking place in an actual cartoon episode. There are six playable characters and four guest stars you can unlock. You can even smash your friends in four-player split-screen action.Among the game modes is Smack Attack, a straightforward deathmatch that challenges each toon to smack the heck out of the other cast members to earn smack points. The character with the most points at the end of the match wins. Another mode, Flag Rally, is the toon version of capture the flag. A toon must collect four flags and make it to the winner's circle to be victorious. The catch is that these flags are on the move, alive and kickin' on their own two feet and trying to avoid capture.
