Record Store Day Black Friday - November 23, 2018
Tradepost Entertainment is excited to once again be part of Record Store Day Black Friday on November 23, 2018. At one of our Omaha locations, we will have exclusive releases to celebrate this event.
This is a day for the people who make up the world of the record store—the staff, the customers, and the artists—to come together and celebrate the unique culture of a record store and the special role these independently owned stores play in their communities.
You can find more information about Record Store Day Here: Record Store Day Website, our participating locations are listed below along with a guide on how to be successful on RSD with Tradepost and then the full list of titles we expect to carry.
Tips on How to Have a successful Record Store Day
With so many killer *limited quantity* exclusive releases hitting on Record Store Day, there are a bunch of rules that RSD stores have to abide by to keep this day indie and out of the hands of ebay flippers. This is about YOU music lover! Not that guy who’s trying to make a buck, but for those that will cherish these releases and never let them leave their cold dead hands. With that being said here are some helpful tips to help you have a successful RSD with Tradepost.
- Check out the list! We have posted the list of titles that we expect to have on RSD, the prices and why they are so damned cool. Take your time and plan out what you wish to get your hands on.
- Line up early! We open at 10am but we’ll be there early to say hi and maybe even hand you a cup of coffee to enjoy. If you are worried about not getting that sweet ICP album don’t stroll in at noon and expect us to have it.
- RSD items will be “First Come First Serve” and are limited to 1 per customer. Our goal is to make sure everyone gets a shot at that thing they really want and not encourage ebay flipping. We’d also encourage you to hang out and partake of our amazing Black Friday Deals we have for this day.
*NOTE* not able to make it into our store for RSD for some reason? Man, that sucks but we understand. Life is crazy. Our RSD exclusive titles will be available for purchase on our website on Saturday November 24th at 7am Central time. These can be purchased directly using the links below.
This is a list of the different albums we are planning on having in stock on Record Store Day. Each participating location will have their own mix of the titles. On Record Store Day, they will be available in store only, and we will have any remaining albums available on the website when possible.

Despite receiving a thrashing from critics, Insane Clown Posse defied the press it received, when The Amazing Jeckel Brothers debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 charts, and ultimately reached platinum status in 2008.
