Dtru is an artist who has versatility, when the versatility of artists today is nearly extinct.Dtru's music reflects his experiences, past and present. In the earlier years of Dtru's life there were many depressed times and dark paths taken. Many journeys ended with heavy drinking and thoughts of suicide. A night of depression and heavy consumption of Everclear resulted in the near death of Dtru. A song written for the Newborn Diversity album entitled 'The Dream' is a creation from a god-given dream that Dtru experienced while in a coma. The epiphany consisted of flashing images of watching his own coffin being lowered beneath the earth. Untrustworthy relationships, either from dishonorable friends or conniving females, left Dtru wanting to escape the fake world from which he had been living and shelter himself from the counterfeit life. While in his search for truth, Dtru studied philosophy, government, and religion and through this journey discovered a new spirituality. With inner struggles that are faced by all, Dtru is destined to expose his truth to the world and share reality with everyone that enters his realm. With music from a spiritual and abstract mind, Dtru is bound to detonate worldwide. Dtru exemplifies deep thoughts from different walks of life. Dtru has tried to expose a different way of thinking throughout a shallow industry. After staring death in the face, Dtru has nothing to lose.
