Best known for leading the NBC Orchestra on the Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, trumpeter Doc Severinsen has been revered by musicians and fans alike for over five decades. On this classic audiophile recording from 1960, Doc is featured on trumpet and is backed by an amazing band consisting of Deane Kincaide - tenor sax and clarinet, Mundell Lowe - guitar, Trigger Alpert - bass and Gus Johnson - drums. All selections have been newly remastered. []
